Come on over to Table & Apron on the 5th of November from the change makers in our industry in an open dialogue about what really goes on behind that stove, and their minds.


Kim Leun - A recent candidate for S. Pellegrino’s Young Chef 2018, Kim Leun is head chef of the highly acclaimed Sitka Eatinghouse & Wine Bar. With a focus on modern Asian, Kim’s interpretation of familiar Asian dishes on the plate comes through with finesse & precision.

Darren Teoh - Pioneering a cuisine that is singularly focused on Malaysian ingredients, Darren paves the way with Dewakan - cooking with what truly comes from our land. Darren & his team is making a ripple on the industry, placing them on the same stage with some of the very best restaurants of the world.

Asya Tan - Gaining her experience purely through working the restaurant circuit both abroad and at home, Asya is the General Manager of Table & Apron. A leader with a constant presence both in the kitchen and front of house, she and her team strives to create a better neighbourhood restaurant experience with a less is more approach.

Who are the GFA? We are just a group of like-minded friends who happen to operate and run some of PJ and KLs favourite casual eateries.
Folks from myBurgerLab, Inside Scoop, Strangers at 47, Red Beanbag, Yellow Brick Road, Grub, ChocolateConcierge, Table and Apron, Wizards, Amazin Graze, Smooshie and Copper will be there.
